Project Overview
The general objective of the O&M Project is to support sustainable economic growth along the corridor through the provision and operation of a high-quality, safe, transport infrastructure; a faster and more efficient mobility option; and increased connectivity between cities along the route.
The Metro Manila Subway Project (“MMSP”) is a 36-km long underground railway system from Valenzuela City to Paranaque, with a connection to NAIA Terminal 3 and has a capacity of 365,000 daily riders.
The O&M Project involves the operations and maintenance of the MMS System which include the following components:
- Depots, including Maintenance Plant and facilities;
- Stations;
- Wayside infrastructure;
- Operation Control Centre (OCC) and Back Office;
- Trains and Rolling Stock;
- Track;
- Traction Power Supply system;
- Signaling command and control systems;
- Telecommunication systems and networks;
- Automatic fare collection systems;
- Station Electrical &Mechanical (E&M);
- Passenger information systems;
- Civil infrastructure
