Georgia - national study : infrastructure financing strategies for sustainable development

These studies were developed under a United Nations Development Account project entitled “Financing strategies for inclusive, equitable and sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific”, which was implemented by the Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division of ESCAP. These studies covered five countries, namely: Georgia, Nepal, The Philippines, Samoa and Viet Nam as well as three sub-regions in Asia. Overall, they provide a diagnosis and analytical work on infrastructure and long-term funding required by countries in the region and the current initiatives in this area. They also introduce tailored strategies to mobilize domestic and international resources in support of sustainable infrastructure development.
